Samson's son · foaled in Kentucky
Firefox
Firefox is here only because he is an international champion and Samson's son. We did not foal him here. David Shewmaker foaled him in Kentucky on 2 May 2016, a silver dun, number 2016484661, out of DJ's Velvet. Claudia Depew owns him and stands him. He was certified 12 May 2018. The registry lists 14.2 hands, inbreeding 16.60%, and silver Z/N. His dam, barn name Val, is with us now. The photograph is marked Scotty.
What his stud page records for 2025
The RMHA listing calls him Country Trail Pleasure International Grand Champion, Country Trail Pleasure International Stallions Champion, and High Point Country Trail Pleasure Champion. The same listing gives a color genotype of EE, nZ, Aa, Dd: black-based, heterozygous silver, agouti carrier, dun carrier. The dun did not have to come from Samson. Samson's published genotype has no dun allele. DJ's Velvet is grullo, which is a dun color, and that is the likely source.
His stud fee, mare care, and standing locations are his owner's business, published on his own page. They are not our terms. Samson's fee and book are on the stud entry.
