Stallion · Milton · in training in Kentucky
Samsons Legacy
His barn name is Milton. He is at Longhorn Valley Farm (LHVF) in Kentucky for training and show experience. We foaled him here on 8 October 2024, out of Starbucks Latte and by Toby's Samson. Silver buckskin. The registry note on silver is Z/N, heterozygous. Registration number 2025489409. We bred him and the papers still list us as owner. The public record still says not yet certified. Inbreeding 9.67%.
He was foaled the day before Hurricane Milton, which is the storm his barn name follows. In 2026 we pointed visitors toward him for the RMHA 40th anniversary centerspread, with Makayla and Longhorn Valley Farm (LHVF). Makayla, in that note, is a person. Photographs are by Stunning Steeds and Andrew Rybeck.
What the color means
Silver buckskin is a bay horse that inherited cream from Latte and silver from Samson. The black points are silvered, and the body stays a cream-diluted bay. Z/N means he carries one silver allele. The same homozygous-silver caution that governs his sire applies if he is bred: a silver stallion belongs with non-silver mares. The published stud fee and book on this site are Samson's. Milton does not have a separate RMHA stud listing yet.
Sire: Toby's Samson. Dam: Starbucks Latte.
