Her sire, IRF Toby's Twilight Glory, is a black stallion with a published inbreeding coefficient of 26.56%. He is by Johnson's Toby, a Kilburn-line chocolate horse, and out of Magnum's Sakura. That is a different concentration of Tobe than Samson's Sewell Sam stack, and the number on the sire is high enough that a researcher should read it before planning a cross.

Her dam, BB's Music's Symphony, is chocolate, by 3 Sisters Music Man and out of Velvet C. Velvet C. is by Sewell's Sam. Samson is a grandson of Sewell's Sam, so a foal of Samson and BB would meet on that horse. She is black, with no silver published on her record, which fits the stallion's non-silver rule on phenotype. A laboratory test is still the way to be sure a dark horse is not hiding something else. Black does not hide silver. Silver on black is chocolate or silver black, and she is recorded as black.
